Water/4/Sea Serpent/XYZ/Effect/2600/1200
2 Level 4 WATER monsters
Once per turn: You can detach 1 Xyz Material from this card; Special Summon 1 Rank 3 or lower WATER Xyz Monster from your Extra Deck. This card cannot attack for the rest of this turn.

Bahamut Shark has been a fixture of the Mermail Extra Deck since its release in Abyss Rising in 2012. At an intimidating 2600 ATK, Bahamut is an absolute powerhouse. Once per turn, you can use that high stat to slap your opponent around then Special Summon a Rank 3-1 Water XYZ to sit pretty. Next turn, you can do it all over again!

Common targets for Bahamut have been Number 17: Leviathan Dragon, Number 30: Acid Golem of Destruction, and Mermail Abysstrite.

Mermail is still very much a viable top contender once Premier events start back up in September. Thus, unlike most sharks on this list, you can rest assured that you have not seen the last of Bahamut.
